What is the difference between the Giant Bicycle frames, specifically the road line for 2012? Let's break it down with Advanced SL, Advanced and Composite Technology.
The Advanced SL bicycle and frame is the highest-performance module Giant will make for 2012. The Advanced SL frame utilizes T-800 raw carbon fiber, a 'painstaking' process of taking threads of carbon and weaving them into actual sheets of carbon. These sheets are then molded together with the latest engineering and construction methods available.
Giant's second level of elite road machines is the Advanced. The technology that is shared between the Advanced SL and the Advanced is the OverDrive2 technology. Overdrive2 is a Giant's all new fork-steerer tube technology. It sets a new industry standard for precision steering offered by a performance bike.
If you want to get somewhat technical, the headset is oversized on a tapered steerer tube. The handling of the bike is 15% more precise from last years model! Just look in the direction you want to go and the bike will do the rest of the work (just kidding)
The third option from Giant this year is Composite Technology. This performance bike offers the more economical price point with Giant's performance technology in mind. The asthetic you may find to very appealing and many say the graphics are eye catching.
We will have a large selection of Giant bicycles on our floor this fall.
