Wow! The course this year, brand new, properly marked and very safe! Thanks to all the Naples Pathways administrators and members who contributed to this years event. The rest and refuel stop for the 62 mile made us wait until mile 40... which was stocked with tasty treats and sweet volunteers so it was worth the wait.
Of the many course options the 10,20,30,62 & 100 the attendance I am sure was a bit lower than NPC may have expected. The weather really beat up riders in Southwest Florida today. The temps were as low as 39 degrees when I left my house this a.m.
The volunteers were colder than the riders from standing at registration and at the rest stops.
